Show off your fruit!

Our "Martini glass" among the fruit bowls is 18 cm high and has a maximum upper diameter of 28 cm. It fits on every breakfast table and is a real eye-catcher and is not just suitable for fruit.

By storing fruit or vegetables in an airy manner with many support points on the untreated wooden sticks, it stays free of mold, flies and pressure marks for longer.

The socket consists of the rods and different variants of the torion. The torion exists as a base and as a ring into which the rods are inserted.

In the Torion Ring version, the plug-in bowl can be set up at an angle. The height of the Torion Ring is variable. It is delivered in two parts, the Torion and the 14 wooden rods, which are put together. The bowl is stable because the rods are clamped together. It is very light and can be disassembled again. Furthermore, it can be shipped or stored very small in this way!

cleaning

The plug-in tray (wooden rods and plastic versions of the Torion) is not dishwasher safe! Therefore, only clean it with warm water. The wooden rods can be wiped with a damp cloth. If they get very wet, the rods will swell and you will have to let them dry for a long time before you can put them back in the Torion.

manufacturing / environmental compatibility

The plug-in bowl is manufactured exclusively in Berlin by the company steewoo. All purchased parts (filament, rods and grass paper) come from Europe.

  • The Torion is produced using a 3D printing process. It is made of food-safe PLA plastic (polylactide). It is a polyester based on renewable raw materials such as sugar cane or corn. It is biodegradable on an industrial scale.
  • The wooden sticks are made of untreated beech and come from Europe. They are delivered, cut and given a round bevel on both sides.
  • The packaging is made of grass paper (during production, 50% of the wood pulp can be replaced by grass fibers (source: graspapier.de)).

disposal

You can dispose of wooden sticks and packaging in the general waste. The Torion can be recycled with the plastic waste. The Torion can be shredded and granulated to make filament again.
